How does the Cervical Traction Posture Pump 100 Work : The Cervical Traction Posture Pump carefully lifts and separates the neck and upper back joints in a special way in a way. Unique expanding air cells angled into the spine activate the "bellows or sponge-like" function of the discs, producing a warm, relaxed feeling through the neck and back. Patented up and down motion reinforces the spine's natural "c" curve shape and promotes joint lubrication, joint nutrition, flexibility in the neck and the correct posture.
How does one use the Cervical Traction at Home? Don’t worry, this traction unit comes with instructions. Many patients have already used a neck traction device before purchasing one for home use. The Cervical Traction Posture Pump is designed to assist you in maintaining the mobility of your cervical vertebral joints, and to help you in maintaining the normal "c" curve of your cervical spine (Cervical lordosis). Read all instructions carefully when you receive your Cervical Traction Posture Pump unit. Remember, that doing neck traction should not cause you pain or be uncomfortable.
- Be sure you are centered over the middle of the pad, and your neck is aligned straight over the fulcrum (pad).
- Place the chin strap and forehead strap in place.
- Pump the bladder up to tolerance.
- Pause for 5-10 seconds, and then release the pressure.
- Repeat as directed by your health professional . Do not exceed 25 repetitions.
- It is very important to breathe and relax while using your home traction device. It will minimize soreness after.
- Some soreness is normal after using the posture pump 1000. This is a different position for your neck and you will use muscles that have not been used before. It is a good idea to ice your neck after treatment for 10-15 minutes.
